This studio cabin is a couples cabin only. It has a large yard and is easy to find and to get to. It has a level driveway with ample parking on a safe gravel road for those beautiful evening strolls. The rocking chairs on the front porch are perfect for rocking your worries away and so is the outdoor fire pit on those chilly evenings while roasting marshmallows. Wake up and step out onto the side deck, breathe in the mountain air and enjoy breakfast with the wildlife surrounding you. Mountain Thyme has a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living area with gas fireplace, a full size bath and queen sized bed. For indoor entertainment there is a 3/4 sized pool table, board games, WiFi, flat screen TV and DVD player with small library.
The cabin is located just miles from the attractions of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and a short distance to grocery and other shopping in Newport. It is also is just a few short miles from the Cosby Entrance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park where you can enjoy the wonderful hiking trails, a beautiful campground with paved walking loops all along Cosby Creek. This little cabin is the perfect getaway retreat!

Everything about this little nook and cranny was beyond perfect. The front porch, the back porch, the kitchen, the pool table, everything. And Jane went above and beyond to make sure my daughter and I had a very BLESSED Experience.
So Grateful for everything.
The location is so quaint and delightful.
The birds, the rooster, I was in LOVE with our mornings on the porch.

Cabin is pretty much full of space, felt breathable and easy to relax in. The shower is a plus for me, for being over 6 ft, I’m glad I didn’t have to duck to get in the water. I loved to cabin, now I want one of my own.

The Mountain Thyme cabin is the perfect place to spend quality time and reconnect with your partner! Our favorite time spent there was sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs listening to nature and reminiscing on old times. I would definitely recommend this cabin to other couples!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The cabin was very cute and incredibly clean. The pictures on VRBO don’t do it justice. Jane was very responsive and easy to contact. She went above and beyond for our anniversary. She left a bottle of champagne with other goodies on the table. She also had rose pedals on the bed with a beautiful heart shaped towel arrangement. We will definitely be back. Thank you Jane!!!

The pictures didn’t do the cabin justice it’s much better in person. This is a great spot for a couples getaway and a nice cozy spot.
