Cancellations, Changes and No Show Policy
Any change or cancellation of your reservation requires 30 days notice. If you change or cancel before (more than) 30 days prior to your check in date ,your deposit minus $100.00 cancellation fee will be refunded. If you cancel (less than) the 30 day period, you will forfeit your deposit that was charged when the reservation was made. A change of reservation date will only be allowed once and within a one year of the original reservation. Then, if you cancel the changed date without at least 30 days notice, you will forfeit your full amount.
If you are a no show and do not call to notify management that you will not be coming and have not contacted us by receiving a cancellation number (which has been assigned to you), you will be responsible for the whole stay and will be charged for the remaining balance of your stay. If you have to leave sooner than planned, we cannot refund your money. We will also not refund for weather conditions. If you intend to book through the winter months from December 1st – March 31st you may want to look into travelers insurance to protect yourself. Cabins are privately owned and agents and owners reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time. Simply Serene does not charge a damage deposit. Instead, policy requires we ask our guests to provide us with a valid credit card number when signing agreement for the potential damage that may occur while guests are staying in cabin (you will be notified before, if any charges are made).
